Jeremy Browne June 6 - 7 2 day workshop: $190.00 Medium: Acrylic
By painting the landscape in its barest form, there is nothing to hide the natural beauty. With summer paintings the light is obstructed, and not allowed to shine at its purist form. "I have found that painting a winter landscape allows me to focus all of my attention on the light and mood of my painting, and not focus of the foliage of a tree. William Band July 25 - 26 2 day workshop: $190.00 Medium: Watercolour
This course is designed for the complete beginner and for painters with some painting experience. It focuses on how to work from a rough sketch to the completed painting - in a short time. We will cover questions on perspective without the stress. Lots of individual attention will be given. From a landscape to a still life, this will be an informative session.

Jennifer Lawton June 26- 88 Sept 11 - 13 3 day workshop: $260.00 Medium: Oil
Taking inspiration from Georgia O'Keeffe, come and paint a large, close-up oil painting of your favourite flower. This course is for students who have some previous knowledge of oil paints, but wish to push themselves further in terms of observation, shape simplification, and colour, as well as technical expertise. The bold colour and strong design make one feel, rather than see, what was experienced a that place and time. The brilliance of the palette enables the viewer to look into shadows and see light and colours they never knew existed in nature, thus allowing them to enter nature with a sensitized eye. Art Camp for Children August 4 - 6 ~ with Bev Sneath Using a variety of materials the children will be able to take home one or more framed pieces. The art camp is open to children ages 6 - 13. Classes run from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. each day. Cost is $130.00 per child plus $15.00 for materials. Two or more children from the same family $100.00 per child plus materials. Back to top
Max Sexsmith Sept. 26 - 27 2 day workshop: $225.00 Medium: Soapstone
Students will learn how to create a unique soapstone sculpture from Canadian or Brazilian soapstone. With the knowledge learned from the class students will be able to complete any unfinished pieces at home. . Precut or small random shaped pieces of stone available at class, cost based on the size of stone selected. All tools and finishing supplies included. Beginners welcome. Back to top
