Taisia Paczkowski Taisia Paczkowski is known for her vibrant paintings of weeds, wild flowers, and the simple and often forsaken elements of nature. Now in her eighties and despite health challenges she continues to produce works that are sought after by collectors worldwide. Her technique draws on the excitement and unpredictability of watercolours to reflect the moods of nature. "Painting for me is a very personal and often quite lonely experience," Taisia says. "It is an emotional, intuitive process that can at times be disappointing, frustrating, and agonizing or it can be exciting, joyful, and most satisfying."

	Taisia's paintings have been exhibited in private and public galleries throughout North America, including the Natural Museum of Natural Sciences. She has received a number of awards for her work and has been recognized for her skill and craftsmanship in "Who's Who in Canada." She has been frequently featured in various magazines and publications.
