Marilyn Mercer Exhibit Marilyn Mercer will be hosting a solo exhibition entitled "Marilyn Mercer - New Works" beginning on June 12th in the Main Rotunda at Gallery on the Lake. Marilyn is a signature member of the Society of Canadian Artists, and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolours. She works in pure transparent watercolour and specializes in bold florals. A few landscapes from her native Ottawa Valley area will also be featured. Her very popular abstracts in liquid acrylics entitled "Dreamscapes" will also be on display. The late Zoltan Szabo, author and internationally known watercolourist has been her friend and mentor for many years. Ms. Mercer has participated in many group and solo exhibitions, this show being her largest to date. Marilyn will be in attendance at the opening of her exhibit on June 12th from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. This show runs until June 30th. Gallery on the Lake is located 3 km east of Buckhorn on the south side of Highway 36 and is open seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
