Conrad Mieschke & Karl Illini The Gallery on the Lake will be hosting a new exhibit entitled "The Realists" featuring the works of accomplished artists, Conrad Mieschke and Karl Illini. Known for his impeccable attention to detail. Conrad Mieschke has created images ranging from farm life to the majestic mountain scenery of the Canadian Rockies and garnered commissions and commendations along the way. Several of
Mieschke's images have been used by the Hallmark Company as well as Unicef. This exhibit will showcase the style, technique and imagery that characterize his work as one of Canada's finest artists.

	Karl Illini is known for his highly detailed images of classic cars; vintage homes and European castles. Karl's works are collected internationally by some of the world's top newsmakers and entrepreneurs as well as members of Royal families. He has been recognized as a signature artist by Ducks Unlimited and the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters - both regionally and nationally. He has been painting for more than thirty years and his paintings have wide ranging appeal. The exhibit opens Saturday, September 23rd and runs until October 6th. Opening Reception and "Meet the Artist" will be held Saturday, September 23rd from 1-4 p.m. in the main rotunda.
The Gallery on the Lake is located on County Road 36, 3 kms East of Buckhorn.
