Norman Brown Taking us through the Fall season Gallery on the Lake will feature an exhibit "Landscapes" comprised of original oils by Norman R. Brown. These can be seen in the Gallery rotunda from October 28th and on into the holiday season. Born in Toronto, Norman Brown is now a highly developed and sensitive painter. Painting has been a natural form of expression since childhood. His ability to capture light and vibrant colours, as well as varying moods and feelings within each painting, is quite remarkable. Norman's paintings are alive with discovering nature and the natural beauty the world offers. He puts particular emphasis on landscapes of rural Ontario. Anyone familiar with his work can't help thinking they are viewing a Norman Brown painting as they drive around the rural areas of Ontario - a Fall sunset, a field of hay bales, a country road. All are scenes we recognize and identify with. Norman has captured many of these familiar vistas in his work and collectors have been eager to have these images hanging on their walls. Norman has received many awards for his work and high praise for his paintings throughout Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He has also participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Ontario. Gallery on the Lake is pleased to host this special exhibition of Norman R. Brown's excellent work.
